From April 30 to May 2, the Social Venture Institute: Sea to Sky will be running an immersive gathering of visionary leaders and social entrepreneurs in Whistler.
The point is to create a dedicated space for leaders to rejuvenate their passion and vision for becoming a force for positive social change. It is all run by the renowned Hollyhock Leadership Institue, and this three-day event will be held at the Squamish Lil’wat Culture Centre in Whistler. What is the Hollyhock Leadership Institute?
The Hollyhock Leadership Institute is an organization committed to resolving leadership deficits. It achieves that goal by creating and managing events where leaders can gather to grow their skills, expand their capacity, and build networks all over the world.
The institute was launched in 1997 and it now runs almost 100 events each year, each dedicated to improving the effectiveness of social change leaders.
These events focus on the big issues, and work to promote social and environmental justice. As such, they are an important way for leaders to share their lessons with others, and to come together to recharge stay enthusiastic about working towards a brighter future.
